AM Station Issues (Posted by Delta on 23-Feb-2007)
I apologise to those who have been attempting to listen to the AM station and who have been having issues doing so. The stream is buffering between some songs, leaving a long period of silence periodically. Be aware that the matter is being examined and we hope to have it fixed up soon. In other news, there have been some (silent) updates, including a lot of the Classic and X music being replaced, and the revamping continues. I hope to have both stations operating with all available MegaMan albums with consistent and superior quality (as compared to some of the stuff on there now) as soon as possible. But it will take some time to do this.
Revamping Begins (Posted by Delta on 31-Oct-2006)
It's time to start replacing all the music on both AM and FM stations. Most of the music present was originally ripped from games and cds by different people and by different methods, and a lot of it has errors, such as glitches and lack of fading, etc. All of this music can be replaced by newer and better rips, most of which can be found on Atomic Fire. So this is what I'm going to do. However, instead of trying to replace it all at once, like I've wanted to in the past, it's more realistic to just replace a few albums at a time. I'm going to start with, what else, the NES tracks, as well as the Gameboy.
I'll try and keep track of what has been replaced and up to standard in the playlists available in the menu step by step (instead of trying to list all the songs that are on the playlist, which I haven't done...). Note also that the smaller songs (for the most part, the ones under twenty seconds in length, such as "Stage Start" and "Victory" jingles) are going to be omitted, leaving only the longer, more important themes on the radio. I believe these changes will improve the quality of Rockman Rush incredibly, and I hope all the listeners will agree.
ZX Tunes (Posted by Delta on 29-Oct-2006)
Following quickly on the heels of the release of ZX Tunes, Rockman Rush now has this set of remastered Rockman ZX music from Inti Creates streaming on both AM and FM stations. I also removed the Classic Gameboy rips from the FM station, as they were too full of glitches and such, and quite frankly, sounded awful because of it; they'll be replaced with better quality ones soon.
Rockman Rush Back Up (Posted by Delta on 27-Oct-2006)
And after much hard work, we owe much thanks to NO_CARRIER for getting 'ZRN's radio back up and running, for the most part. While there are still bugs and all, including the "Now Playing" strings that are usually in the upper-left corner, the AM and FM radios are now working: you can connect to them via the menu. Thanks again, NO_CARRIER.
Rockman Rush Down (Posted by Delta on 3-Oct-2006)
Quoting NO_CARRIER, I will make a long story short:
Good news: 'ZRN will be moving to a newer and hopefully more reliable server. (Faster processor, more memory, newer GNU/Linux kernel, new "toy" applications and tools to better the 'ZRN experience, etc.)
Bad news: 'ZRN will be down for as much as several days during the relocation process.
Hopefully, things will occur smoothly and we will have no troubles after the move. If we do encounter problems, we will deal with them on a one-by-one basis.
We apologize for the inconvenience and expected down time but we feel it will be for the better in the end.
Sorry for the late update. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do regarding the PHP error code above wrecking the layout. As far as music is concerned, with Inti Creates releasing ZX Tunes later this month, we hope to have a nice set of remastered ZX music sometime in November.
Rockman ZX (Posted by Delta on 23-Jul-2006)
Both AM and FM stations just had the music from Rockman ZX added, ripped by Heat Man of Atomic Fire. Enjoy!
New Music Added to AM Station (Posted by Delta on 28-May-2006)
Just a quick note that the AM-Station was updated with the same music that the FM-station was updated with: MegaMan: Powered Up, MegaMan: Maverick Hunter X and the four Remastered Rockman Zero soundtracks.
