New Music Added to FM Station (Posted by Delta on 25-May-2006)
The FM-Station is finally seeing that update we've been talking about since we took over. A big, fat thank you to GreenYoshi of Radio Nintendo for helping out with some quirky technical issues that came up (and sorry to you listeners who might have had the radio stop and restart a few times over the last couple of days). Anyway, we now have MegaMan: Powered Up, MegaMan: Maverick Hunter X and the four Remastered Rockman Zero soundtracks up for your listening pleasure. We'll also be updating the AM-Station similarly, and introducing even more goodies to both stations soon.
New Layout (Posted by Delta on 20-May-2006)
It's been awhile, but we've been working hard to update the layout. As may be evident, Rockman Rush is jointly run by the websites Atomic Fire and MegaMan Empire, the staff of which are working hard to bring you the best MegaMan radio experience on the internet! We will be getting the links on the menu to the left working shortly.
New Rockman Rush Operator (Posted by Delta on 29-Apr-2006)
Hello all you MegaMan music fans! My name is Delta, and I've taken charge of Rockman Rush. For a brief amount of time, there will be no changes beyond some administrative things; however, a new layout for the site is in the works, and there are plans to add the latest albums of MegaMan music available. Meanwhile, keep enjoying the tunes that Rockman Rush offers you 24/7!
Rockman Battle & Chase (Posted by Jennifer on 17-Jan-2006)
Hope all you listeners had a good New Year's. I'm sorry that updates have been so extremely sparse. I am very busy. However, finally the music I was going to add is up on the FM playlist. Enjoy music from Rockman Battle and Chase!
Update (Posted by Jennifer on 27-June-2005)
I know updates have been few and far between. I'm sorry, but unfortunately there are so many other things going on in my life that the radio station isn't my #1 priority. I am in the process of encoding some music from Rockman Battle and Chase, though, and hopefully will have it added to the playlist within a few days. Keep an eye out for it!
Gameboy Music Added (Posted by Jennifer on 12-Apr-2005)
Music from Megaman I, Megaman II, and Megaman III have been added to the FM playlist. Enjoy!
Contest Winner (Posted by Jennifer on 1-Apr-2005)
I know it's April Fool's Day, but this is not a joke. :) I received one total entry for the AO contest. Despite this fact, I'm certainly going to keep my word and award the only winner, Manuel, with a code that's good for 30 days of Anarchy Online expansion pack access! Congratulations, Manuel! When I have the chance, be on the lookout for more music from x4, x5, and x6!
Rockman Rush FM (Posted by Jennifer on 16-Mar-2005)
Rockman Rush FM has been released! Listen to your favorite Megaman tunes in FM quality. Songs currently on the playlist are fromMegaman 1-8, Megaman Battle Network 4 and 5, Rockman X7, Megaman X8, and Mega Man Network Transmission. There are over 300 songs on the playlist rotation, so there's plenty to go around.
FM songs are encoded in MP3Pro format. In order to get the most out of it, you'll need to download the MP3Pro Winamp plugin located here. Install it and you'll be ready to go! Should you decide not to install the plugin, you will notice some improvement on the FM station, but not as much. Until I get a page up explaining this, email me any questions or problems you have and I'll try to help you out.
In celebration of the release, I will be giving away 3 Anarchy Online codes on March 31st. Check out the contest page for more details.
Above all, enjoy!!
New Layout and Plans (Posted by Jennifer on 25-Feb-2005)
I'm Jennifer, station master of RPG Radio, and I have taken over!
However, don't be alarmed. I come in peace, and I mean you no harm. I'm going to bring Rockman Rush back up to speed. There is a new layout, as you can now see. There is an FM station in the works, forums, affiliates, and new music. Tell all your friends. Spread the word!
Reviving Rockman Rush (Posted by Jennifer on 23-Feb-2005)
I'm Jennifer, the station master for RPG Radio. I'm taking over! Bwahaha!
I'm going to be working on Rockman Rush to try to update it and bring it into a workable state again. The station is down right now as I ran into some problems...hopefully it won't be down too long. I've fixed the station links at the bottom of the page and fixed various broken links, but be on the lookout for a make over!
Newer Logo and Music Coming (Posted by MugenMidget on 18-Oct-2003)
Another brand spanking logo, this time it is drawn by me. Our next logo will be drawn by a fan called MoonyMonster, and logos from there on out will probably be the same. Feel free to submit any piece of art worth its salt (which is like all of them) and I'll gladly replace the current logo. Megaman X7 should be uploaded soon, and I'm pretty sure I still need to upload Rockman EXE 3. By the way, Megaman Anniversary Collection is making me wet my pants in a delightful manner.
New Logo and More Music (Posted by MugenMidget on 06-Mar-2003)
Well it seems we got ourselves a new logo. It appears the old one was actually made up by Fanewgie, who didn't seem to like the first one. So he whipped up this new hand drawn and might I add quite spiffy rendition of a classic. I dub it, Robodog Pissing on Hydrant. *peanut gallery claps* Anyways, yada yada, new music, yada yada, Sound Navigation 01 thanks to Nigoli2 (good man) and lots of the stuffs from EXE 3 thanks to who else but Heatman yip yip yippee. So here it is, hope ya enjoy.
Rockman EXE Transmission - Jack in! (Posted by MugenMidget on 10-Mar-2003)
Heat Man has recorded 6 great MP3 selections from the new Gamecube title, Rockman EXE Transmission. Also, due to new policies taking effect, ZRN is putting up banner ads. The reasons for this of course are typical, so I don't have to get a job is the primary one. Also, I would like to take the time to thank Gren MH, for making me his affiliate and allowing me to use Heat Man's music collection, SonicBlur for doing such a great job on the MP3 catalog, Heat Man himself for recording the music, Vaitso for the wonderful HTML you see before you (and edited by Gren MH), and last but certainly not least, Andy Wolan for providing a place to musically express a generation of games. Thanks to everyone!
Welcome to Rockman Rush! - Online Radio (Posted by MugenMidget on 7-Mar-2003)
One day, waking up from my bed, surrounded by Rockman paraphenalia, I realized something about the world. It was a sad place, and it was lacking something. I knew that thing, for I had felt this emptiness before. The world was lacking music, and not just any music. In a world swamped with pop culture, we had lost our tastes. And I'm not just talking about the classical stuff here, I'm talking about something a little more nostalgic to me, and especially children of the 80's. Today, next to greats such as Sonic and Mario, Rockman (Megaman) stands strong as one of the driving forces behind Video Games. Is this due to the immensely fun gameplay? Partially, but one never fails to notice the musical aspect of his journies. I mean, in what other game will you find such simple, yet complex, and incredibly catchy tunes, all poured into our souls through synthesizers. No matter where the industry takes Rockman, one thing is for sure, his tunes remain the best. So when I heard that there was an opening at Zone Radio Network, I knew it was my time. My time, to try my best to put together (well more like steal) all the great Rockman music, and compile it into a streaming dream. This is my story, and I hope you enjoy it's results.
